4. Installation and Licensing Notes

Mac OS X 10.4 and higher is required to run kSpectra. It's double-precision, core numerical linear algebra computations use the BLAS and Lapack functions in Apple’s Accelerate framework, which are tuned to all of Apple’s processors.

kSpectra uses eSellerate's product activation feature to prevent using software with the same serial number on number of machines that exceed permitted number. For every purchased copy two activations are allowed. For example, in addition to a primary computer, user can install and activate the serial number on a home computer or portable (laptop). It is up to a user to decide how optimally utilize activations that are available to him/her.

The customer can purchase a serial number by using " Purchase" menu item of a demo copy, and in this case activation occurs automatically on a computer where the demo has been running.

Customer can also use our web store to buy registration, and then use the obtained Serial No. to activate it with Registration Info menu item of the demo copy, running it on a computer of his/her choice:

In the event that multiple copies are purchased on a single order, only one unique serial number will be issued, that can be used to activate two computers per one copy purchased.

By using Deactivate button users have the ability to deactivate kSpectra on one machine and reactivate it on another.
